It started with the cabinet above our fridge. We cut it in half and then bought a nice piece of plywood for the top and cut a whole for the bowl.
We took the rest of the plywood, attached beadboard to it, and then screwed it into the back of the cabinet.
After that we attached the doors. We had to move the hinges from where they were originally and I painted a pie on the front!
I bought little handles for the front so one is an oven door, and the other is her cabinet!
Next we added a 1/2" shelf on the back and installed her own faucet. A dog bowl made the sink, and wooden knobs were painted and screwed in for her burners and the oven.
We painted everything in and let it sit over night to dry.
Stevalow (my Dad) came over and helped us cut the trim. We seriously spent more effort on this then we have our kitchen by now! Pics of that to come soon too!
Mama Lisa helped me paint on the burners and I added hooks on the side. It needs one more coat of paint and primer, and its done!
