New Front Patio

For the last two years one of the biggest projects on our list has been to rip out the hideous front step and sidewalk and pour a new patio. (To see how ugly it really was, view pics from the sewer line project.)

We finally did it last week! Dad and Brian ripped it out on 7/6, and we spent 7/7 with Dad and CD to build the new forms:

Added steps on the end..

Then, on 7/9, we got concrete and poured!

It looks SO much better. I've been thinking for months about exactly what I want, and designed the front. Once we sprayed the yard with paint to see exactly how it looked, I knew I would love it.

Stay tuned for landscaping! We are having soil delivered soon, hopefully this awful heat will leave so we can actually get some grass to grow.
